Trump Meets Putin for the First Time, Putin Denies Election Hacking

President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met for the first time at the G20 Summit in Hamburg. Their meeting went on for more than two hours.

The Washington Post reports Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who joined the meeting, said Putin denied hacking the U.S. presidential election after Trump pressed him about it. They also announced a de-escalation commitment for southwest Syria.

Trump said it was an honor to be with Putin and he looks forward to positive things happening for Russia and the United States.
