Baby Boomers aren’t considering steps to remain independent as they age, according to a Georgetown University study. The study found the majority of Baby Boomers aren’t planning on incorporating technology into their future lifestyles.
The study found 91 percent of respondents want to live in their own homes, while 96 percent say it’s important to be as independent as possible as they get older. But, only 21 percent of respondents plan to add technology solutions to their homes. In addition, 23 percent of respondents don’t even know where to start when it comes to upgrading their homes with smart technology.
