GOP Senators put off Health Care Bill Vote

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has put the senate health care bill vote on hold until after a July 4 recess. This give senators more time to work through some GOP opposition of the bill and negotiate compromises and changes to the bill.

CNN reports McConnell’s goal is to have a new draft out by Friday, get it scored by the Congressional Budget Office and then senators can vote on it when they get back from recess.
