Trump Warns of 'Major, Major Conflict' with North Korea

President Donald Trump said a potential “major, major conflict with North Korea” is possible in an interview with Reuters. He told the news agency North Korea is his biggest challenge and he hopes to solve things with North Korea diplomatically, but said it’s very difficult.

He also praised Chinese President Xi Jinping for his help in trying to stop North Korea in its pursuit of expanding its nuclear and missile programs.

Trump said South Korea should pay for the $1 billion U.S. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-ballistic missile system to protect themselves from an attack from the North.
