Bill O’Reilly’s 20-year career at Fox News has come to an end amid harassment allegations against him. That means the television news network is cutting ties with it biggest star, host of “The O’Reilly Factor.”
The company said in a statement through its parent company 21st Century Fox, “After a thorough and careful review of the allegations the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”
In April, The New York Times reported O’Reilly or Fox had spent $13 million to settle harassment cases against him.
Fox removed “The O’Reilly Factor” from their primetime lineup. Tucker Carlson will be airing an hour earlier to take over O’Reilly’s spot.
