Neil Gorsuch Sworn in as Supreme Court Justice

Judge Neil Gorsuch was sworn in as the 113th Supreme Court Justice Monday morning, replacing a vacant seat left open by the late Antonin Scalia.

The ceremony came after a grueling confirmation process. Republican senators used the so called "nuclear option" to change the rules and stopped Democrats from being able to filibuster.

Gorsuch is expected to cast the deciding vote in some important Supreme Court cases, which is why his seat was so important to Democrats and Republicans.
