President Donald Trump signed an executive action that will eliminate two regulations for every new one enacted -- fulfilling one of his campaign promises.
The Hill reports the executive order makes exceptions for national security and emergencies.
USA Today reports Trump said it was the largest cut to regulations in history and it would help small businesses. The President was surrounded by small business owners as he signed the order.
CNBC reports under the order, federal agencies will propose rules they want to eliminate, then the White House will review them.
