Donald Trump Dismisses North Korea On Nuclear Weapon Threat

In a bold move -- after North Korea leader Kim Jong-un announced the country was in its final stages of developing an intercontinental ballistic missile --- President-elect Donald Trump tweeted, "...it won't happen!"

In another tweet an hour later Trump said China, North Korea's ally, wasn't doing enough to stop North Korea's development of the missile.

The Wall Street Journal reports a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the country's efforts to stop North Korea were "clear for all to see" and mentioned China's work to hold six-nation talks in hopes of convincing North Korea to give up its nuclear program and its support for United Nations sanctions against North Korea.
