Carrie Fisher, Star Wars Legend, Dies at 60

Beloved Star Wars star Carrie Fisher dies at 60. The actress best known for her role as Princess Leia suffered a heart attack.

A family spokesperson released a statement on behalf of Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd.
It reads, "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning."

People reports Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on December 23rd when she went into cardiac arrest.

She is survived by her mom Debbie Reynolds, daughter Lourd and her French Bulldog, Gary.
