According to CNN, protests were held at schools and college campuses across the nation.
Pop star Lady Gaga, a staunch Clinton supporter stood on a sanitation truck outside the Trump Tower in New York, holding up a sign that read "Love trumps hate." Another well-known Clinton supporter, pop singer Katy Perry tweeted, "Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us." Madonna tweeted "A new fire is Lit We never give up. We never give in."
Trump has a document called his 100-day action plan to Make America Great Again.
The contract says on his first day on the job he will work to clean up the corruption and special interest collusion in Washington, DC, protect American workers and restore security and the constitutional rule of law.
