President-elect Donald Trump says there's no transition turmoil as more reports come in of people leaving his team.
In response to a New York Times article titled "Firings and Discord Put Trump Transition Team in a State of Disarray" Trump tweeted, "It is going so smoothly." The story said "Trump's transition was in disarray on Tuesday, marked by firings, infighting and revelations that American allies were blindly dialing in to Trump Tower to try to reach the soon-to-be-leader of the free world."
NBC News reports Vice President-elect Mike Pence ordered all lobbyists off his team. That's how Trump's campaign is explaining the firing of Matthew Freedman, a top foreign policy leader.
On Tuesday, former Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers, was asked to leave the transition team.
