Mike Pence to head Donald Trump's Transition Team

Vice President-elect Mike Pence is replacing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as head of Donald Trump's transition team. Christie will still remain on the team on a smaller scale, as a vice chair.

The transition team includes Silicon Valley tycoon Peter Thiel, former New York mayor Rudi Giuliani, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, Ben Carson and three of Trump's children -- Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump.

Christie said in a statement that he is proud to have run the pre-election phase of the transition team and a donor close to Christie's presidential campaign told Bloomberg, Christie is ready to serve the Trump administration regardless of title.
