The FBI will look through 650,000 emails off of disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop that are related to Hillary Clinton's private email server investigation. Weiner's ex-wife Huma Abedin, Clinton's top aide, apparently shared her husband's laptop. Federal investigators discovered the messages after they seized devices they believed Weiner was using to sext a 15-year-old girl.
FBI director James Comey announced Thursday, that the bureau would be investigating the emails, even though earlier this year he recommended the Department of Justice not to press charges against Clinton. The Washington Post reports people familiar with the case said FBI agents investigating Clinton's private email server use knew about the newly discovered emails, but waited weeks before briefing Comey.
