Charlie Sheen Admits He's HIV Positive, Multiple Lawsuits Pending

Sheen told Today’s Matt Lauer that he had never had a sexual encounter after becoming HIV-positive without telling the person involved that he had the infection. However, six women who have been sexual partners of Sheen have retained lawyers and are planning to sue. The women deny that Sheen told them about his problem. TMZ reports that the number of lawsuits could go up sharply, as Sheen has had hundreds of law partners in the last two years. Hundreds of lawsuit could bankrupt Sheen, even if none of the plaintiffs have contracted HIV from Sheen. They would still have claims for emotional distress.
